The first of a series of Men’s Health Forum Scotland Seminars looking at self management of long term conditions and men, took place in Glasgow on Friday 9th April 2010.
This one-day seminar was aimed at those involved in supporting self management for men with long term conditions. The seminar specifically looked at:
- The challenges men face when living with a long term condition and barriers to self management
- Successful men’s health initiatives, how they have developed and how they continue to engage with men living with long term conditions
- How the self-management for men project can support organisations to engage more effectively with men to self–manage
