Tackling CHD with men in primary care

Dr Paul Macintyre, Lead Clinician for CHD in Scotland

Men's Health Policy and the European Commission

Erick Savoye, Director, European Men's Health Forum

Andy Kerr MSP, Minister for Health and Community Care

As part of his presentation Health Minister Andy Kerr said:

"Health improvement is our biggest priority. Men's health, physical and mental, is a particular concern for us, as men have traditionally taken poor care of their own health in Scotland.  That's why I support the principles and aims of the Declaration.

"This includes raising awareness and understanding of men’s health issues among men and boys and encouraging them to take care and responsibility for their own health, but also ensuring health information and care services are appropriate and accessible."
